Not too much to update this time. Not very many exciting stories either, sorry. Plus it's hard to write an update with both kids begging for me to play with them. :) The kids have been happy and fun. They are still really easy kids. They are starting to play together a lot, which is really fun to watch. One of their favorite games is to get in their little pop up tent and roll around in it all over the living room floor. Paigy is a girly girl. She plays with her babies dolls all of the time. She rocks them, kisses them, hugs them, feeds them, changes their diapers, etc. She's really starting to talk and has about 20 words. Ethan is still our little rock star and pretends to play guitar hero with every toy he has. He also has a new love for all games especially Clue. We still modify most games, but you can definitely tell he is my kid because he asks to play games ALL of the time. I love it, except that most games aren't Paigy approved so we have to wait until she is napping or in bed at night or in the morning.

We spent several days with Nona, Holly, and Noel in Roswell and then a night in Ruidoso. Whew was that fun, but exhausting. It is really tiring to watch Paige in a not baby proof place because you have to chase her everywhere she goes. Plus neither kid sleeps well when they aren't in their own bed. It was Holly's 21st birthday! We had a great time racing go-carts. Ethan loved them and wanted to go as fast as possible. He was still too little to drive, but when we move back from China he'll be old enough. Scary!

We lost our first two fish this month. Fangle and Dangle. Ethan seemed a little sad, but wasn't really upset. He and daddy just picked out 6 new fish and both kids were excited about them. No names yet, but Ethan is thinking and said it may take him a few years to decide on some.

A picture i meant to post last time. Look at this birthday cake that Nandee made for Ethan. It had candy rocks and crushed cookies for the dirt!

Adoption Update--Well we got a court date of October 3rd. We are disappointed that we didn't make the cutoff before the closure, but at least we don't have to wait until they open before we're assigned one. If we pass then we will travel about a month after that to pick up our babies. By then she will be 10 months old and he will be 8 months old. We can't wait to bring them home!

For those wondering--we are planning on picking up the babies in Nov. I'll have about 11 weeks off work to help everyone with the transition. :) Then mid Jan we'll move to Phoenix. Then approx summer of 2009 we move to China for our big year adventure.
